Message engine bay for the last 10 yrs:

WD40- for cleaning and dress up, works great on painted area, bare metal, hoses (rubber, silicone), wire looms and plastics.

Rags- soft cotton, old towels and flannels work great because the absorb dirt better.

Denatured alcohol- works great on rubber and silicone hoses, used prior to applying WD40 instead of vinyl/bumper dress up since it doesn't attract dirt.

Plastics- paint with either high temp paint, engine paint, wheel paint, all available in spray cans at local autoparts, use some steel wood (500 or 1000) to roughen the surface for better adhesion.

Wax- used on all painted areas

Aluminum- I find that Mother's Billet Aluminum polish works great.

"Wechen Circuit Wash"- for electrical contacts, connectors, etc.

Dielectric grease- use after cleaning connectors.

Plenum- 23 working hours of sanding, buffing. I would never do another again.
